Description

The wanderer’s Ring is a powerful symbol of inner strength, embracing the spirit of adventure and becoming one with the WAY.
The inspiration for the ring is a combination of the philosophy of the ancient Tao Te Ching, while the sentence engraved on the ring was taken from Tolkien’s poem from the Lord of the Rings “All That is Gold Does Not Glitter” ( known as “The Riddle of Strider” or “Song of Aragorn”)fantasy The poem appears twice in the first book of the trilogy “Fellowship of the Ring”.

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes, a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”
The first line was taken from Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice -the original proverb in the play was “All that glitters is not gold”.
The poem indicated that on our journey we will encounter endless distractions and delusions. However one of our biggest misconceptions is the endless search for a goal that will make us find an eternal state of bliss.
One of life’s biggest paradoxes is the fact that the more we seek to reach happiness the more miserable we are.
Many of us who are on a journey of self-exploration seems sometimes to the people outside “lost”, while in reality, we have found ourselves spiritually and mentally. This ring is a powerful reminder that the journey is even more important than the final destination.
